HATM’s Habco Aquila purchase for fleet expansion and international route diversification
The current high market demand for the energy sector and its supporting industries, PT Habco Trans Maritima Tbk (“HATM”) aims to be able to answer this need by adding the Habco Aquila Bulk Carrier fleet.

Habco Aquila is projected to bring in Rp 200 Billion in Net Profit within F2022 – F2027
This step is also in line with the plan to use the funds obtained from the last Public Offering, along with the addition of HATM’s internal cash obtained from HATM’s Operating Profit.
Habco Aquila with DWT 53,716, is planned to serve time charter contracts for international routes. The results of the analysis of Public Appraiser Iskandar & Partners based on Disclosure of Information, conveyed the potential for an increase in revenue of IDR 27.96 billion in the period August – December 2022, IDR 76.16 billion in 2023, up to IDR 82.9 billion in 2027. With a total profit contributed by Habco Aquila Rp. 199.3 billion from F2022 – F2027.
Transactions on Habco Aquila between HATM and Parent Company PT Habco Primatama were executed at Rp 251 billion with the conclusion that the transaction value was fair.
“The transaction will reduce liquidity but will not affect the Company’s solvency. However, this transaction will increase the Company’s revenue and profit,” said Andrew Kam, President Director of HATM in Information Disclosure.
HATM itself is a company that specializes in bulk carrier ship operations which are part of the integrated maritime solution of PT Habco Primatama.
It is known that PT Habco Primatama has been established since 1991 and has developed a marine ship transportation business from upstream to downstream. Habco Group’s services focus on maritime logistics which includes but is not limited to barging, stevedoring, floating crane, docking, and shipbuilding.
